Sanderling Cottage

We loved Sanderling, and hope to return every year! We had a very relaxing vacation! Sanderling Cottage is a wonderful cottage. It is clean,has great views,and the beds are comfortable. We had a relaxing beach vacation,and we hope to return to Sanderling Cottage!!!

From the moment we walked in the door, we knew this was going to be a great home! The view of the ocean was the first thing we noticed. It is absolutely beautiful! The home is great for a family of four (or more). The furniture and beds are very comfortable. The master bedroom is huge and gives you lots of room to spread out. Especially if you overpack like I do.We loved the ocean front view from the master bedroom, too. The nights were perfect for leaving the windows open and it was so wonderful to hear the ocean! Great sound machine. I love all of the special touches like the abundance of hooks on the walls. They are great for your towels, small bags, etc. Also, we loved all storage areas. Lots of closets and places to put your things. Our girls loved the bunk beds! They also loved the the sand toys you provided. We love the open floor so we can all be together while we were working in the kitchen. This house has so many books that our family enjoyed reading during the week. They have books for adults and children. I can go on and on about how wonderful this house is. We will definitely return! Thanks for opening your home up to us!

We stayed at the Sanderling Cottage this past summer and enjoyed the magnificent views each morning! Upon entering the home, we were amazed by the view of the Atlantic. It is truly breathtaking! We will be back again next summer!

We stayed at this cottage in September 2015 and again in April 2016. It is a charming cottage. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the deck facing the ocean and lingered with our coffee on the bench seats by the sea. The cottage was spotless and had all the amenities of home and more. We highly recommend this cottage for your beach vacation for total rest and rejuvenation. The pictures tell it all. We hope we can come back soon.

I absolutely adored staying at this oceanfront cottage with my family. This house has an up close and personal view of the best that Topsail Island has to offer, complete with schools of dolphin swimming right in front of the house every morning. There is a covered back porch which encompasses the entire back of the home, along with it's own walkway leading to the ocean- I found it to be perfect for entertaining and relaxing while taking cover from the hot sun. The interior of the home has been recently remodeled with new flooring and paint and has an open floor plan, which I found to be perfect for accommodating my kids and family. The spacious and private master suite and bathroom was a nice bonus, as it was on it's own side of the house- was a much needed escape from my often not-so-quiet children. My children and guests had one side of the house, with their own bathroom , while the master is more private. The furnishings are very clean and up-to-date and I love the decor (I'm not a fan of over-the-top beach themes) and I found the casual & tasteful decorations perfect. The kitchen has new and modern appliances with all the kitchen gadgets (can't live without a Keurig!) I needed to cook family meals at the house. I will return to this charming cottage again and again for those amazing ocean views (floor to ceiling windows in living area), cleanliness, and fantastic covered pack porch. Love this place!
