Bikes & Kayak Rentals: Herring’s Outdoor Sports in Surf City (910) 328-3291 offers bike and kayak rentals.

Boat Ramp: Soundside Park by the swing bridge in Surf City offers a NC Wildlife boating access ramp that is free for public use with parking for boat trailers. Bush's Marina in the business district of Topsail Beach offers a boating access ramp to the public. Parking is limited at this location. For information on any fees for using the Topsail Beach boat ramp, please visit the Town of Topsail Beach website or call them directly.

Churches: There are four churches on the Island:  Emma Anderson Memorial Chapel, a non-denominational church in Topsail Beach; Surf City Baptist Church; St. Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church in Surf City; and the North Topsail Shores Baptist Chapel.

Government: You may wish to visit websites for the local towns’ government to obtain information on local laws and ordinances at the Town of Surf City or the Town of Topsail Beach.

Grocery Stores : Island grocery stores include Surf City IGA, located near the corner of S. Topsail Dr. and Roland Ave. in Surf City and Godwin’s New Topsail Market on the corner of S. Anderson Blvd. and Flake Ave. in Topsail Beach.  Food Lion is located approximately 1 mile west of the swing bridge in Surf City on NC Hwy. 50/210.

Laundry: There are no laundry service companies or laundromats on the island.

Linens, Beach & Baby Item Rentals: Topsail Realty does not offer bed & bath linens with rentals.  However, there are companies on the island that you can rent these items from directly including Topsail Sunsational Rentals at 910-328-6088 or Me & Mom Rentals at 910-470-5506.

Marina: Beach House Marina in Surf City (910) 328-2628 has wet slips, dry storage, gas, and diesel fuel.

Medical: Surf City Urgent Care and Family Medicine, located at 13520 NC Hwy 50 in the shopping center across Hwy 50 from Food Lion, (910) 329-9812. Realo Discount Drugs (Surf City Pharmacy), located at 13460 NC Hwy 50 in Suite 101 (also in the shopping center area across Hwy 50 from Food Lion), (910) 329-1134.

Post Offices: The Topsail Beach Post Office is located at 714 S. Anderson Blvd., next to our office.
The Surf City Post Office is located at 13567 NC Highway 50 next to Carolina Divers (across the parking lot from Food Lion).
